Campus life at the South Mediterranean University is about more than the classroom. Students work together as teams in club activities and events. This spirit of teamwork and togetherness is supported by SMU in its academic curriculum as well. Faculty members work closely with students to help them manage clubs and contribute positively to student life.

The Student Club Council (SCC) is a student-run advisory board that manages and encourages new clubs and initiatives at the South Mediterranean University including MSB and MEDTECH.

The South Mediterranean University SCC's roles include:

  • Structuring club activity.
  • Coordinating between clubs.
  • Planning workshops and trainings to enhance student involvement at SMU.
  • Providing an interactive platform for ideas, suggestions and improvement.
  • Providing resources/tools to help students succeed with their clubs and initiatives.
